For over 50 years, the iconic racetrack has been the site of some of the most important moments in drag racing history, such as the first 300-mph Top Fuel pass in 1992 as well as the first 200-mph Pro Stock Motorcycle pass. In 2023, the legendary track will host the the East Coast opener and the first race of the 2023 AMALIE Motor Oil NHRA Drag Racing season.

Gainesville Raceway will host the highly anticipated Pep Boys NHRA Top Fuel All-Star Callout on Saturday, March 11th. This event offers an impressive $130,000 in prize money for the top competitors. The unique format, introduced in 2022, allows the top-seeded driver to call out their first-round opponent, followed by the number two-seed, and so on until all of the first-round matchups are set. On Saturday, the best drivers from the Nitro and Pro Stock classes also battle it out to see who the Number One qualifier will be and who will make it to the NHRA Nationals eliminations on Sunday.
